Begründung:
Working with HD video makes it even more important to evaluate sharpness, exposure and colours on a real television screen. The Canopus Edius NX Express provides this option and more: it’s a fully-featured editing solution with loads of real time features, and the most complete selection of supported video formats on the market (including DV, HDV and AVCHD). The latest Edius software even includes a built-in DVD authoring tool, and the Procoder software addresses many new distribution formats. Although this high-end editing solution demands a fast computer with Edius NX Express, that’s a small price to pay for such easy installation, and a built-in hardware encoder that will transcode finished video to DVD in almost real time.

In June each year, the editors-in-chief from all EISA member magazines meet to decide which of products analyzed in their publications during the past year deserve the coveted EISA Award. The six categories under consideration are: Audio, Video, Home Theater, Photography, Mobile Electronics and Convergence. There is no doubt that this EISA Award is the most prestigious honour for a consumer electronics manufacturer to receive in Europe and this year around 56 products were declared as “Best Product” in their category by the EISA judges for the period 2007-2008.
